This has not been the best week for me exercise-wise. Things were crazy with the kids and I had a ton to do with Great Blog Giveaways. So the best I can do is try to do better next week and be glad that I did get some exercise in. A little is better than none at all, right?
I did get to try a new healthy recipe this week, using Delicata Squash. I had never tasted this type of squash before, but I had seen it mentioned over on The Nourishing Gourmet. Delicata is a thinner skinned winter squash so there is no need to peel it. It is not as sweet as butternut squash. Like most squash, it is a great source of beta-carotene. I prepared it using an orange juice reduction and it was quite tasty. I hope to have the recipe up sometime next week.
So here's how this week went:
- Friday - 0
- Saturday - 0
- Sunday - 0
- Monday - 1.0 miles - Leslie Sansone dvd
- Tuesday - 0
- Wednesday - 4.4 miles bicycling to my grandmother's house
- Thursday - 0

I don't know about you, but I always find it so motivational to read about other people's stories and successes. So I thought maybe we could help each other out.
I would love to read your posts and comments about your fitness successes this week. Did you lose weight? Did you meet a goal? How do you find the motivation to exercise? Did you discover a healthy new recipe or a great new workout dvd? I want to hear about it. Feel free to blog about it and link up below. If you don't have a blog, that's ok. You can write something in the comment section.
By participating this week, you can get 2 bonus entries in my giveaway to win one of these great workout dvds. After you either add your linky here or leave a comment below, then return to the original giveaway post to claim your entries.

I find that unless i have a reason to ride, i don't do it. This is why i started riding to work everyday and riding to the shops. If i have a reason i don't even question it, but i never just go for a ride for the sake of exercise. I don't know if you have a way that you can incorporate riding into your daily life?
