Sleep Scentsations Review and Giveaway

I sometimes have trouble falling asleep because my mind races and just won't shut down.  So when I was recently contacted about reviewing Sleep Scentsations Scented Pillow Liners, I  was happy to give them a try.

Sleep Scentsations Liners are thin, soft liners infused with essential oils and fragrance oils that will not stain your bed linens. When placed on your pillow, underneath the pillowcase, you will enjoy a relaxing scent that will lull you to sleep.   Each liner typically lasts 4-7 days.

They are easy to use - you just peel off the backing and affix the liner to your pillowcase.  I tend to move around a lot in my sleep, but the liner stayed in place.  The liners come off your pillow quite easily too.


I chose the Relaxing scent to try because I love the smell of lavender.  Sleep Scentsation's Relaxing scent is a blend of lavender, bergamot, and cedarwood.  It didn't smell exactly like I expected, but it was a pleasing scent nonetheless.  I used it last night and found I was able to sleep soundly.  I would have to use it a couple of more nights to definitively say that the liner helped me to relax and fall asleep more quickly.  However, I really enjoyed the scent.  It was comforting and for some reason reminded me of my grandma's house as a child.  I always loved the smell of her house. 


I was also sent a My Boyfriend's Shirt scented liner to try.   It is a blend of musk, jasmine, and sandalwood.  I didn't care for this one as much at first.  It reminded me of my husband's deodorant and was overpowering right out of the package.  However, after a couple of hours it wasn't as strong.  My oldest daughter ended up trying it as she really liked the scent. 

The liners come in quite a few different scents, so I am sure it won't be a problem to find one that suits your tastes. I do want to let people know that while the scents are strong right out of the package, they aren't that way under the pillowcase.  It was just the right amount, which I appreciated.
